With over 18 years experience in design, editorial design and art direction Dillon St.Paul has art directed and co-created some of Ireland’s biggest lifestyle magazines. He has also designed editorial for successful publications internationally including magazines in Sydney and London. Over his career he has won PPAI Magazine Designer of the Year in 2007 and 2012. He is highly skilled at digital retouching and all aspects of pre-press production. His work in creating a 3D issue of STELLAR was shortlisted as Innovation of the year 2012.
As well as a successful Graphic Designer and Art Director, Dillon is also an accomplished Illustrator, his work has been published around the world. Winning a Computer Arts Award for his work in digital illustration. He has held catalogues of of his work with Getty Images and has had close working relationships with EMAP (now Bauer), IPC Media, Pacific Publications and many more. Dillon also collaborates with world renowned brands in commercial advertorial regularly, experiential 3d rendering, strategy and activation, including Rimmel, L’Oréal, Maybelline, Disney, Diet Coke, Subway, Pepsico and many more.
Responsible for design of commercial promotions/assets, activations and pitch decks. Concepts, creative copywriting and mechanics of social media roll-out. Also digitally rendered experiential aspects for clients and event illustration. Day to day also involved HPTO design, animated gifs, banners and other digital assets.

Responsible for design evolution of Irish TATLER magazine. This evolved into a digital role where I was responsible for visual and design aspects of a new digital venture at Harmonia Publishing. Project management includes organising site content, editing and optimising navigation and user experience.

Advertising Creative (freelance)
The Sunday World Newspaper
– (4 years) Dublin
Created advertising concepts, copywriting, teaser campaigns and designed adverts for The Sunday World newspaper which appeared in the Irish Market Journal and across other media. Adverts usually involved dynamic and witty relationships between eye catching images (created and altered in photoshop) coupled with catchy tag lines to engage viewers both consumers and other media professionals.
